New Year’s is coming up and resolutions are being made for the new year ahead. You have 525.600 minutes left to spare, what are you going to do with these minutes?
Writing down resolutions is easy: “I want this, and I want to do that”. Having clear goals and plans is a good thing, but how about changing the way you make them? How about focusing on what feelings you would like to be present in your day-to-day life? Your energy will follow your focus, so focus on finding ways to fill your life with love and creating the right circumstances for you to feel re-energized. Doing this will make it easier for you to live the life you have always dreamed of – RIGHT NOW. You will experience magic every day if you make sure love is present both in your home and in your life.

Gratitude is one of the pillars of a happy life. When you focus on what you have, you attract more of it, as simple as that. It is “Law of Attraction” in practice. Like attracts like. Focus on what you lack and you get more of it. Let one of your goals for 2019 be to have a gratitude journal. If you write down five things every night for which you can be grateful, something happens to you. Oprah has done it, as long as she has been able to write and many successful people write their gratitude list every night. You attract more of what you are grateful for.
#2. A home you love
When you love everything you have, you have everything you need. Create a home that you love and you will feel happy every time you enter the door to your home. Your home is a reflection of your life. If your home doesn’t support the life you like to live, what can you change? I strongly believe that you can create the home that you support you where you live now. Don’t wait until you have got another home. Make the most out of the home you live NOW and you will attract a better home.
#3. People that lift you higher
If we are constantly told that we are not good enough, kind enough, or worse – bad people, it is not easy to feel that we are enough. Dont et anybody steal your dreams. Surround yourself with people who believe in you and cheer on you and you have a greater chance of living a happy life and creating the life you dream of.
#4. Let go of the stuff you don’t love
It is not easy to create the life you love if you are surrounded with clutter and things you really want to get rid of. Why don’t you do it? Get rid of the clutter in your life? What do you have to remove to live the life your dreams? 90% of all New Year’s resolutions are forgotten by January 14, why? Because we do not create the right conditions to succeed. Maybe you don’t need more in life? Maybe it’s more than enough? Write a “let go” list and remove anything that doesn’t lift you.
#5. Listening to your intuition
Do you often compromise with yourself? Make choices that you know don’t support you and say yes when you really want to say no? We all have a quiet, inner, little voice that whispers what we need to do. It is not loud and loud and you have to be silent to hear it. It takes courage to listen to the intuition, but when you learn to listen and become brave enough to act, you will make choices that support you in life. Most of us are super-intuitive but dare not rely entirely on the intuition – the gut feeling. The intuition is there and has always been there. Listen inward, then you know how to live a happy life and make choices that bring you closer to your dreams.
When the evening comes, spend a few minutes on self-reflection before going to sleep. Ask yourself: What has been good? When did I make the good choices? What wasn’t that good? Stop judging yourself for the choices that weren’t that good, just be an observer. Use your gratitude journal and write down what you are grateful for. Think about what you want to focus on tomorrow and release everything that happened during the day.
Take some or all this idea with you in the new year and you will more easily achieve your goals. Focus on what emotions you want to live with, then set your goals accordingly.
Our brain is like a chemical factory that produces the chemicals for the different feelings we experience in our everyday life. If you are used to always feeling stressed, focus on inner peace. If you are used to never feeling good enough, what you can do change that? We are habitual people who act on autopilot until we become conscious and make other choices. Remember, it is the feelings we live with that determine whether the days have been good or bad.
